Today’s the day!
My fourth book, and the second in The Rosary Invitations Series, is out today on May 13th, which is the double feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of Fatima. I chose this release date because this newest book is all about The Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary, and one of those mysteries is the Institution of the Eucharist (or the Blessed Sacrament). And, of course, I had to pick a Marian feast day to honor Mary both in this month of May and as the book’s theme is the Rosary!
About the Book!
Gather Together: The Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary as Invitations to Friendship is a Catholic devotional journal helping readers move from loneliness to community through the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary.
This devotional is interactive and intended as an individual or group resource. Included but not limited to, this book features scriptural passages, reflections, and personal anecdotes from the author as well as activity suggestions for combating isolation. Also included are declarations for friendship to be recited before each Hail Mary and spaces for readers to write notes, personal prayer intentions, and letters to Mary.
Early Reviews!
“Gather Together: The Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary as Invitations to Friendship” is a purposeful, slow-walk through the significant moments of Jesus’ public life, from an observer’s eye. Through the author’s memorable stories, and original imaginatio divina, the richness and beauty of these mysteries saturate the mind and heart, inviting the reader into deeper trust in Our Lord, and connection with Mother Mary. Rounded out with scriptures, journal prompts, and activity ideas, the book will make an excellent companion for a retreat, in a small rosary group, or for your personal holy hour devotions.”

This book is a treasure!
I run a thriving tutoring business and am active in my parish, so most people assume that I am an extrovert. I am not! Inside, I struggle with forming and maintaining friendships that are not colleague-based as ministry or work relationships. Yet, I hardly knew how to pray for growth in this area. Thankfully, the "bead declarations for friendship" in Gather Together have supplied me with perfect petitions, while the "Stories, Activities, Advice and More!" for each Luminous Mystery have given me practical opportunities for building friendships with those I meet in my everyday life.
