My name is Allison Ramirez, and I am an enthusiastic Christian writer. I am passionate about sharing beautiful stories with readers and helping other writers do the same!
As a little girl, I would scribble pages of written adventures about my friends, family, or stuffed animals. Besides writing and storytelling, I have a love for animals and thought that I would become a Veterinarian. Growing in my faith in middle and high school, I decided to pursue academics in English with hopes to work in book publishing one day (still the dream!)
I hold a B.A. in English (emphasis Creative Writing) from Seattle Pacific University (2019) and an M.A. in Theology (emphasis Church History) from Holy Apostles (2024).
I’ve spent the last four years in chancery and parish ministry, working first for the Archdiocese of Seattle in the Benefits department and then as the Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation at St. Barbara Parish.
Over that time, I have continued to write and am the author of two books: devotional-journal Breathe Deeply: The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary as Invitations to Peace (2021) and dystopian fiction novel, The Divided Kingdom (2023).
I am a Washington State native and reside in a cute townhouse with my husband, Nathan, and our six pets: Pug pup (Leo), Holland Lop Rabbit (Blue), Guinea Pig (Arthur), Hamster (Carrot), and two Gerbils (Cosmos & Damien).
I hope you will join my author newsletter to stay connected! The hope is to send you monthly content of author resources, book recommendations, videos, interviews, blog posts, articles, essays, short stories, giveaways, Instagram updates, and more!
